Pickleball, padel and tennis: what kit crosses over

Overgrips are genuinely interchangeable
The same overgrips work across tennis, padel, pickleball, squash and badminton. Handle shapes differ, but the wrap itself does not care.
That is why most of the grips we stock list several racquet sports on the packaging — it is accurate, not marketing.
Handle diameter differs
Pickleball and padel handles are generally thinner than tennis handles. A player moving between them may want an extra overgrip layer on the smaller handle to keep the hand position consistent.
This is the most common adjustment players make when picking up a second racquet sport.
Dampeners are tennis specific
Padel and pickleball paddles are solid rather than strung, so dampeners have nothing to damp. They do not transfer.
Weighted tape, by contrast, works on all of them.
Towels and sweatbands transfer completely
Nothing about a towel or a headband is sport specific. If you already have kit that works, it works everywhere.
This is the cheapest part of picking up a new racquet sport.
Weighted tape and balance
Adding a gram per inch at the head increases power and stability at the cost of manoeuvrability, on any implement. Tungsten tape is thinner than lead for the same weight, which matters on a paddle edge.
Add small amounts and play with them before adding more.
Grip tape for paddle edges
Edge tape protects a paddle from scrapes on the court surface, which is the most common way paddles are damaged. It is not the same product as an overgrip.

Quick answers
How often should an overgrip be changed?
Club players usually change every few sessions; if you play in humidity or sweat heavily, every session is normal. It is the cheapest thing you can do for your grip.
What is the difference between tacky and dry grips?
Tacky grips stick to the hand and suit dry conditions. Dry-feel grips wick moisture and suit sweaty hands. We stock both, and each listing states which finish it is.
